There are so many resources available on the internet to help your business run smoothly. Below are a few of the resources I use in my business and happy to recommend:
Elegant Themes – https://www.elegantthemes.com
Divi by Elegant Themes is a drag and drop page builder that allows you to do some very creative things with a website. You see your changes as you make them on the page you’re building. They regularly add new features to make it easier to use or be more creative with your website. Their support desk is very good in responding to questions; however, they offer no live support at this
Hostgator – www.hostgator.com
The website hosting is reasonably priced and they often offer discounts to get you to sign up. I’ve used this web hosting company and highly recommend them. The primary reason for my recommendation is their Support Center provides superior customer service, plus you’re not left waiting on hold for a technician to get on the line with you.
Dropbox – Resources
This cloud-based service provides free storage up 2 GB, allowing you to store and share documents photos and videos. Once a file is saved in Dropbox, it automatically syncs, allowing designated users to see new or updated documents. If you have a team, this tool is great for sharing documents. There is a free version, which I use.
Grammarly – https://app.grammarly.com/
This tool detects grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice, and style mistakes as you write. There’s a free and premium version. I use the free version since it has a lot of features I want.
Carbonite – www.carbonite.com
Provides peace-of-mind protection for files on your computer. This cloud-based software encrypts your files and stores them at a secure location. My computer crashed and it was such a relief knowing all my files would be restored once I was back and up and running. Their customer service is excellent.
Acuity – Acuity is a scheduling tool that offers features beyond just scheduling. You can embed your calendar on your website, or they will do it for you. Other features include sharing your calendar on social media and the ability to customize it to your brand.
A free conferencing service that also allows you to record your calls. I use this service and have found it to be easy to use and the quality of the calls is excellent.
LastPass – www.lastpass.com
They offer a free version, which is what I use. No more typing in your log-in information every time you visit a site, and your information is encrypted, so it’s secure.
